Great Beachfront Rentals: Florida Panhandle
78Florida is flanked on every side with awesome beaches, ranging from Pensacola on the panhandle to Miami near the southern tip, and all the way back up the eastern coast to Amelia Island. One of the most beautiful yet often overlooked areas of the state is the Mexico Beach, St. Joe Beach, and Cape San Blas region. The beaches here are soft and white, and the water is calm and clear. The lifestyle is totally laid back and unhurried, with no theme parks, no high rises, and very few fast food joints.
Mexico Beach and St. Joe Beach are adjacent to each other. This is a small community with great locally owned restaurants, mom-and-pop stores, and a very friendly atmosphere. The fishing is great, too!
Just around the edge of St. Joseph Bay from Port St. Joe is Cape San Blas, named the Best Beach in the US by the famous Dr. Beach a few years ago. On the Cape, you have a choice of the Gulf of Mexico and the clear, pristine waters of St. Joseph Bay. Rent a pontoon boat and spend the day cruising, snorkeling, fishing, and swimming. If you arrive after July 1st, you can scallop in the Bay, too! Nearby horseback riding is also available. The end of the Cape is rich in wildlife, and the deer here are practically tame!
I have eight grandchildren, and most of them accompany us on vacations. These are absolutely the best beaches for kids you could find anywhere! The sand is so white it never gets hot enough to burn little bare feet, even under the scorching rays of the Florida sun. Also, the surf is very gentle, and there's virtually no undertow.
This area has some great beach vacation rentals, including oceanfront condos, beachfront hotels, and excellent campgrounds. We love this region and have made the trip many times. We always rent a house, and some of the best beachfront rental homes we’ve discovered are those managed by No Worries Vacation Rentals. Below are a few of their houses.

Attitude Adjustment

You'll enjoy the great views from the expanive deck. If location is important to you and your family, you'll love this place! It's close to the Mexico Beach fishing pier and within walking distance of restaurants, an arcade, a marina, a public boat ramp, and convenience stores. Attitude Adjustment sleeps eight comfortably.

Sandbox
The Sandbox is located in Mexico Beach and sleeps twelve. This pet-friendly home has four bedrooms, four baths, a fully eqipped kitchen, wifi, a rainforest shower, an outdoor grill, and a private pool. The home is beautifully furnished, and the decks provide stunning views of the gulf. The beach is just a short walk away, along with restaurants, shops, and a grocery store. If you have a larger group and need more space, you can also rent "7th Heaven" next door.
Fall and winter rates for the Sandbox start at $1400 per week. Spring rates start at $2000 per week, and summer rates begin at $2400. Linens are provided.
Sugar Magnolia
This beachfront rental is on the pristine shores of Cape San Blas, and it's huge! It has five bedrooms, four full baths, a half baths, a large kitchen, living room, game room, a movie den, an elevator, and an office with a queen sofa sleeper. Sugar Magnolia comfortably sleeps sixteen. Three master king bedroom suites face the gulf, including one with a Jacuzzi, private deck, and walk-in shower. Outside are decks that provide great views, a charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower.
This is a beautiful pet-friendly home with marble floors, crown molding, and high celings, and it's within walking distance of an ice cream shop and a convenience store. It shares a pool with six other homes, too.
Fall and winter weekly rates start at $2400, with spring rates starting at $2800. Summer rates range from $4000 to $4800 per week. This is a great beachfront home for two or more families, or for a large group of friends. Linens are provided.

Never heard of beach front home in malaysia but a resort stay is very famous in Asia region ,from what has mentioned it looks very special for a week stay and the rates are quit reasonable for a family and looks convenience too!great infomation thank you!
You won't find rentals like these at New England beaches. At best, I've found most cottages 'rustic'. These sound wonderful.
It would be fun, but a little pricey for me.
That certainly is a beautiful area for a quiet vay-kay!
These are so wonderful. I wish I could go there forever. That is exactly what I could with -- and say all of us. Thank you for showing.
The Florida Panhandle is the only area of Florida that I haven't been to. I hope to go there on my next trip to Florida.
Ooooh, I visited St. George Island once and thought it quite beautiful. I would love to spend a couple of weeks at a beach front rental. Now, which bank should I rob?
Thanks for the info!
I love the idea of renting a house. I'd love to do it with my kids and grandchildren.
Pricey but I guess if there are enough of you to share the costs.
Habee, Sounds great now all we have to do is get the kiddos outta school. I'm ready... Thanks and Peace ;)
Looks very inviting!! Oh...and your daughter is stunning!
Definitely look lovely! We have rented homes before on the Oregon Coast and that is a great deal on some of those. We paid as much as $800 per night once - it was a very special occasion - Bob's 60th birthday but the house was to die for and it had my 'thing' - a gourmet kitchen so how could we go wrong? Great info though - it definitely looks like it is a LOT warmer on those beaches than ours. Still love the shore here though - even if I have to wear a coat in July!
I did a beach house rental once a few years back in Spain, and it was an apartment and I got it for Eur700 for a month!! That was amazing value, and the view was cool. Florida is a place I would love to visit some day, warm climate and lovely beaches to explore! Sounds idyllic, Habee! Great hub!
If we had a big family (which we don't) this would be IDEAL! With your hub showing these...hope you can get reservations when you want them now! Ha!
All the beaches sound wonderful and so do the beach house rentals. The pictures were great.
Habee, Nice hub. Since I live in FL and have for many years there isn't much I haven't seen. Great pictures.

I have never been to a beach front rental, but I have been to ones that were nearer the beach and it is just like a home away from the home. I love the convenience of having everything you need even though you are away from home.
These rental properties are so worth the money! I love the sound of the Sandbox rental.
