The Childrens Place - Cheap Childrens Clothing!
Discount Childrens Clothing
I enjoy shopping for childrens clothing, especially when I can find cheap childrens clothes. I have eight grandkids, with another on the way, so I do a lot of searching for discount childrens clothing. The thing is, though, that I don’t want the items I buy to look cheap. I like for my grandchildren to look nice at school and when they go out, so attractive clothes are a must. Sometimes it’s not easy to find a good balance between inexpensive childrens clothes and clothes that are cute and fashionable, but I’ve found the perfect store that fills both of my requirements – the Childrens Place. A Childrens Place store is only a block away from my home, so I’m a very frequent shopper. Sometimes, when they don’t have exactly what I want in stock, I shop online at childrensplace dot com.
Cheap Childrens Clothes
You can find some very cheap childrens clothes at the Childrens Place. For one thing, few items are priced over $25. Even better, however, our local Childrens Place always has great sales. I visit the store about once a week, and every time I’ve even been, there were several racks of sale items. Many times there are items marked down 30%, or even 50%. Sometimes seasonal items are offered at 50% of the already marked down price. Now that’s what I call discount childrens clothes!
You’ll also find a great selection. In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a single item in the store that I wouldn’t be proud for my grandchildren to wear. I never have a problem finding lots of clothing items to buy – my problem is always deciding on what I have to leave behind!
The Childrens Place is especially fun to visit during the holidays, when they all sorts of themed childrens clothing – tee shirts, sweatshirts, pajamas, dresses, outfits, and accessories. I’ve noticed special items for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Valentine’s Day, and St. Patrick’s Day. Their red-white-and-blue selections would be perfect for July Fourth, Labor Day, and Memorial Day, too.

Childrens Place Baby Clothes
Childrens Place baby clothes are too cute! You can find sweaters, hoodies, jackets, jeans, dresses, leggings, shorts, skirts, capris, rompers, socks, pajamas, tights, bathing suits, tees, button-up shirts, blouses, and sleepers. I especially like the accessories for babies, which are often hard to find in other stores. These include sunglasses, necklaces, hats, caps, scarves, bracelets, hair bands, hair bows, and feather clips.
To go with all those Childrens Place baby clothes, you can find matching shoes, slippers, boots, and flip-flops. The styles range from casual to dressy.
Yesterday, I was shopping for baby girI clothes as part of my quest. I bought a dress and a dressy white jacket at the Childrens Place for my soon-to-arrive granddaughter. The ensemble will be perfect for her to wear to church this fall. Were these cheap baby girl clothes? Decide for yourself. The dress was $7.50 and the jacket was under $10. Don’t worry – they also have cheap baby boy clothes! I just don’t happen to need any of those right now.
Girls Clothing
I have three granddaughters, and number four granddaughter is expected in July. I’ll admit that I enjoy shopping for and buying girls clothing more than I do boys clothing. I really try to be fair with the number of items I buy for the grandkids, but buying for the girls is just more fun. I think that’s probably because there are so many more options for girls clothes. I mean, let’s face it – boys are pretty much limited to jeans, slacks, shirts, shorts, hats, and sports clothing. Girls clothing, on the other hand, can include all the items I mentioned for boys, plus skirts, capris, leggings, tights, halter tops, and all sorts of dresses. And with girls clothing, you can do a lot more accessorizing. It’s fun to find jewelry, bows, scarves, purses, sunglasses, and other accessories to match the outfits you select, which isn’t possible at all girls clothing stores. I’ll give you an example of what I’m talking about: I got the two older girls Childrens Place bathing suits, and I found flip flops, hair clips, bracelets, and sunglasses to match. I also found some cool cowboy hats with silver crowns to wear with the swimsuits. They’ll be little beach divas on our family vacation this summer!
Of all the girls clothing stores we’ve frequented over the years, TCP is definitely our favorite. I found some great deals on girls clothing yesterday. For example, I got really cute embellished hoodies for $2.49 each! I also found long sleeve tops at the same price. I got the two older girls summer halter tees for $6 each, too.
Boys Clothing
Okay, boys clothing isn’t as much fun to shop for as girls clothing, but the boys can’t exactly go around naked, can they? I like for my five grandsons to be dressed attractively, and I always find some great boys clothes at my town’s Childrens Place. Believe it or not, the boys even enjoy shopping there, because TCP has some “cool” boys clothing, including items that sport sharks, skulls, and electric guitars. I bought some bathing trunks for the boys, and the store had flip-flops to match, with the same pattern as the trunks. The boys also like the cool winter hats and the graphic tees in the store.
If you’re looking for something a little nice, check out the boys dress clothes. You’ll find button-down dress shirts and slacks for a “preppy” look. My grandsons aren’t into boys dress clothes as much as they are the cool, casual clothes, but they understand that sometimes they have to come out of their skulls and sharks.
The deals I found yesterday on boys clothing included really cool jeans for under $10 a pair, long sleeve plaid shirts for 75% off the original price, and long sleeve rugby shirts for just $11. My daughter and I really like the rugby shirts. They have an appliquéd logo and a printed graphic on the left breast. There was also a huge bin of winter hats and matching gloves for fifty cents each! Yes, you read that right – the hats, gloves, and scarves were all two for a dollar.
Childrens Place Coupons
Childrens Place coupons are awesome! Some stores won’t allow you to use coupons on sales items, but this isn’t a problem with The Childrens Place coupons. In most instances, you can combine Childrens Place coupons with all the items on sale, which will save you a lot of cash. From my experience, some stores that provide coupons will take the discount only from your highest priced item, but most of the Childrens Place coupons take the discount from your entire purchase. The more you buy, the more you save!
I have to mention Place Cash here, too. Oftentimes, when you spend $20, you’ll get $20 in Place Cash that can be used for future purchases when you spend at least $40 in the store. That $40 purchase is reduced to just $20 when you use your Place Cash. Yesterday, for example, I had $100 in Place Cash. I selected $200 in merchandise, but I had to pay only $100 at checkout.
Another type of Childrens Place coupon I’ve taken advantage of are those for free shipping. If the store doesn’t have the size or color you need in an item, they’ll provide you with a free shipping coupon or code that you can use online at childrensplace.
Childrens Place Printable Coupon
I also receive a Childrens Place printable coupon from time to time, via email. When you shop at a Childrens Place store and make a purchase, you can enter your email at checkout. I strongly suggest doing this! You’ll get email alerts about special sales, and like I said, sometimes you’ll get a Childrens Place printable coupon. The coupons can usually be used in stores and online at childrensplace dot com.
I received a Childrens Place printable coupon via email recently, and I tried to print it yesterday for our shopping excursion, but I was out of color ink. I printed the number codes from the coupon and presented it to the store manager, and he accepted it with no problem.
Childrens Place Card
So far, I’ve been able to resist getting a Childrens Place Card – the store’s charge card. With my affinity for buying cute, cheap childrens clothes and the store just a block away, I’m afraid I won’t be able to resist the temptation of “maxing out” the card in no time. Still, there are definitely some advantages to having and using a Childrens Place Card. When you apply, you get 20% off that purchase, along with 5% off all future purchases when you pay with your Childrens Place Card. Card holders also get special savings offers - which make cheap childrens clothing even cheaper - along with previews of upcoming clothing collections. You can manage your account completely online, too. if you haven’t checked out all the great childrens clothing at The Childrens Place, find one now!
